I am still unemployed but moving forward with my Writing and Art. I have been blessed to have received some nice interest in my recently published Children's book "Byron The Lonely Christmas Tree". As of this date I have the following dates set for book signings: The Family Christian Store on Southside Blvd in Jacksonville on 11/28 from 10AM -2PM, Barnes & Noble at the St Johns Town Center Location in Jacksonville, starting at 5PM with a childrens story time reading followed by a signing on 12/4, Borders Bookstore on Southside Blvd. in Jacksonville, FL from 11AM-2PM on 12/5/09, and at the Surfrider Foundation, First Coast Chapters Art Auction at the American Legion Hall at Jacksonville Beach from 6pm -9:30PM on 10/17/09.
Pieces of my art will also be auctioned off at the event. I am also scheduled to sign at the Atlanta Press Clubs Holiday Author Party the week of 12/7 (an exact date has yet to be set) I will be signing both my children's book as well as my other book "Chicken of the Sea" at most events. I have also agreed to donate 10% of the proceeds from the sales of my Byron book to the City rescue Mission in jacksonville. Please check out the link to their site to find out more about it. As soon as I can get good pictures of my Art work i will post them on my site. I will also be updating my signing schedule but you can find out times and dates by going onto the Tate Publishing web-site. My books are also available through Tate, Amazon. other book distribution sites or by requesting them at your local book store. We have been blessed with some good waves of late and I have been able to enjoy much of it. It is one of the positive aspects of being out of work. I am also continuing to write and have completed two new children's books and nearly complete with the second draft of a novel. Mahalo and Aloha for now
